What is Beta Alpha Psi?

Beta Alpha Psi, the national honors fraternity for financial information professionals, was organized on February 12, 1919, at the University academic excellence and complements members’ formal education by providing interaction among students, faculty, and professionals. The organization also works to foster lifelong growth, service, and ethical conduct.

The Beta Alpha Psi chapter at Illinois State University started in the spring of 1998 following several requests by respected employers. Recruiters realize the honor of one’s affiliation with Beta Alpha Psi and pursue active members for future employment opportunities. Alumni have distinguished themselves by attaining the highest ranks in the world of business. We hope to continue this tradition by including not only those individuals with high academic scholarship, but also those with commitment to see the chapter reach its utmost potential.
